I've just posted obits on 6 of my GG Grandfather's children. I do not have obits for Delbert Webster who died in 1908; Rosa Ellen "Rosie" Webster Walker (Welker) who died in 1923; and Mary Jane "Mada" Webster Foltz who died in 1952. Any cousins out there with this info? I've attached a picture of these children. Anyone out there able to identify which is which? This picture was never labeled. We know these are the children of John Wesley Webster and Mary Hannah Newlon. The twins, Albert and Delbert are obviously on the front row but otherwise.... ??? Thanks for any help.

Hi John,
I obtained all the other obits from Betty. She is marvelous! I'm not exactly sure where the other's died. I know Delbert died in Vermillion county--he was pretty young. We'll see what she says. I've emailed her for a few other facts. Thanks for the response.

Read your message and looked at the picture. I have just one little clue for you. I noted that one of the men in the picture had an oval shaped lapel pin exactly like the one my father had. It was issued by the C@EI RR to its past employees.

Thank you, Norma, for that tip. I never noticed. I'll ask a couple of cousins about that. I presume those initials are for a railroad??

Very interesting. I went back and looked at my picture. Both men standing on either end of back row have lapel pins. On the left, it's round. On the Right it's oval. I am presuming you are speaking of the man on the right. He is the one that I am almost certain is my G grandfather.

Janet, That is right. I would be willing to bet that he worked for the C&EI railroad as my father and uncles did. They all had those oval pins. Norma

I'm sorry but I have not heard of Tosser. My G. Grandpa's sister, Rosie, married a Welker. His other sister, Mada, married a Foltz. Also his Great Grandma was a Foltz. I am fairly new at all this (only been researching for a couple years) and haven't found many Webster cousins to compare notes with. Lots of Hedges cousins, but few on the Webster side. happy hunting!! :-)
