Can anyone help me find out where the list of persons buried in Dayton Cemetery, Dayton, Indiana can be located or who I might contact to find the grave locations of two people I believe are buried there?

I was in contact about two or three years ago with the trustee of Sheffield Township and she told me at that time that the Dayton, Indiana cemetery books were in the hands of the Historical Society or Genealogical Society but I have never been able to ascertain exactly where they are nor do I know whom to contact to ask for information. There are only a few of the cemetery listings for Dayton Cemetery online and I have already checked those.

One person I am looking for who is buried in the cemetery in Dayton, Indiana is Ada Linn, her obituary from the Lafayette, IN paper says she is buried in that cemetery. I am also looking for the possibility that her daughter Cora Bailey might also be buried in Dayton cemetery.

Any information or suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you. Sharon Parrish
