Indiana tax lists around the same time period. I have read (and cannot remember where) that few lists have survived over the years. Jane Eagelsfield
Darlington has published tax lists for a number of counties in
Indiana (see
Indiana Tax Lists), but the only list for
Switzerland County in this book is for 1843. A list of delinquent land taxes for 1821,
Switzerland County, can be found in the
Indiana Genealogist. Fort Wayne IN: Mar 1998. Vol. 9 Iss. 1. That is all I have been able to find. It might be worthwhile checking with the county courthouse to learn whether they have any lists.

Switzerland Co. still exist.
