Sorry I took so long to respond. First off I wanted to tell you that my sister-in-law (my brother Eric's wife) is Sheri Stachowiak, so you're not the only one!

Anyway, I checked my records and I don't see any reference to John F. or Joseph Stachowiak. But here's what I do have:

Valentine & Katarzyna Stachowiak (Gniezno, Poznan, Poland) had three children:

Bartholemew, Julianna, and Martin (my great-grandfather).

Bartholemew married Agnes Kujawski and had 7 children: Mary, Victoria, Stanley, Constance, Frances, Thaddeus, and Veronica.

Julianna married Andrew Dziubinski and had 7 children: Stanislaw (Steve), John A. (Johann), Valentina (Laura), Joseph, Frank, Helen, and Mary.

Martin married Agnes Rajter and had 9 children:
Bronislawa (Bernice), Josephine, Jennie, Irene, Sylvester, Leo, Edward, Chester, and Harriet.

Martin and Agnes' son Leo is my grandfather, and he married my grandmother Helen Blaszczyk/Blasczyk, and had two children, Dorothy and my dad Gerald. My grandmother's father was Teofil Blasczyk, and my grandmother's siblings were Gustov, John, Benjamin, and Agnes.

Anyway, doesn't look like a direct connection, but I'll bet there is a relation somewhere. Anyway, these are the South Bend, IN branch of Stachowiak's. Let me know if you find any connections.
