I am looking for family of George and Susanna(Stauffer) Anstett from France. Moved to America in 1830's. Came to Dekalb and then Steuben County Indiana in 1850's.Children named Charles, Sarah, George W(my decendant), John, Susan, Elizabeth, Caroline, and Harriet. The first 2 children were born in France and the rest in Pennsylvania. Hope to hear. Cheryl

My great-grandmother, Mildred G Trumbull Miller, married Diedrick C. Anstett b.1903 d.1979. It was the second marriage for both of them and they had no children together, but he had a son from his first marriage, Dee Anstett. I'm not sure if Diedrick was born in Steuben county or not, but Mildred Trumbull lived in Steuben County all her life so they had to have met there. I can't say for certain if he is descended from your Anstetts or not though.
