My name is Sandy Duncan,Reid Criswell is the grandfather I never knew. He was married to Fern Edith Elliott and they had my mother Delia Ethel Marie 1912-1954, and Owen Maynard Criswell 1915-1995. My mom died in 1954. I was 11 when she died and my father didn't talk about the Criswell's other than my Uncle Owen (BUD). When I retired I started looking into genealogy and trying to find about the family ancestors I didn't know existed. I have two pictures that my mother had, they are marked gramma criswell. I think one is Sarah Humphrey, and I am guessing the other may be Elizabeth Bolejack because they are not the same person. Would anyone be able to tell me if I could send copies by mail. I can send them by computer also. I also have pictures of my grandfather when he was young with his brothers, and with my mother and father Walter Woods. They were unmarked also. I would appreciate your help since I have run into so many roadblocks when it comes to Elizabeth and the Criswell's. Doses anyone have any documentation she is Cherokee Indian?
Thank you,
Sandy

I also have Criswell relatives. Margaret Criswell married William Ellsworth. They are my Great-grandparents. I did not know them, nor did I know my Grandparents, but I do know there is Indian blood. I just don't know from where.

Could I get a copy of your picture?
Maybe compare to my Homer Ellsworth and my grandmother Bessie.

Hi Roger,
I am taking a chance you will answer this email. I am looking for information on Harold Sloan Criswell son of Reid Criswell. Reid is my grandfather. In 2006 I came across a picture that looked like my brother only it is old. I finally got it identified to be Reid and I am assuming a brother. Mom always said my brother looked like the Criswell's. Mom (Delia Ethel Marie Criswell) died in 1954 and I didn't even hear Reid's name that I remember until 1959. I have a picture that I am guessing is Elizabeth Bolejack but I can't find anyone that would know. I am asking for your help in locating the family you know about.
Thank you,
Sandy
