FROM THE GRANDVIEW MONITOR
A citizen states that dogs jumped his garden fence and made a play ground of his hot bed and cold frame with considerable damage resulting.
Herbert RUE, son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. RUE, was married last Sunday in Terre Haute to Miss. Acme HELDT and will arrive to-day to visit his parents.
Henry TITUS brought us a note Friday, found in a bottle at the river, which was evidently thrown into the river at the falls near Jeffersonville. The girls claim to be just “sweet sixteen” and ask the finder to send pictures.
Lee POOLE, of Kentucky, purchased a milch cow of Goodman HARRIS Tuesday and paid $85 for the animal.
We took all the cream out of the item concerning C. C. DAWSON’s sale of livestock last week by leaving off a figure it should have been $1,143.
Mrs. Georgia Ann MURPHY, aged 65 years, died at her home east of town last Thursday and was buried at U.B. New Hope Friday afternoon. She is survived by six children. Will, Clarence, Frank and Mesdames Fred REIFF, John CAMERON and Kam KELLAMS.
