Amos Collins was married to Periscilla Swing, both died Shelby Co IN. After Amos death, in 1829, Periscilla married Dudley Taylor. In 1830 William Collins of Boone Co., KY sued Periscilla
for land he bought for his brother Amos.
The earliest William Collins in Shelby Co IN came from Madison Co KY. (left there abt 1820) to settle in Shelby Co IN
Some ressearchers have Amos as the son of Stephen listing a brother Willima in KY. Who lived to be 83 years old.
My problem, IF he is the brother to Amos HOW is the William who lives NEAR Periscilla in the 1830 census for Shelby Co., IN and has connecting land related to Amos Collins.
Anyone have any ideas?
