I can't believe it but my cousin e mailed me a few pictures awhile back as I was looking at them BINGO a picture of Sarah Bowman taken in 1894. She was in her 20's at the time. I believe that this is our Sarah Bowman. I am going to try and attach it to this post. Sorry about the quality but this pic is 105 years old. Fingers Crossed

I'm glad that picture is of Sarah as we had heard that she was supposed to be pretty or beautiful & wanted to see for ourselves, but couldn't find a picture of her.

Joe Phillips your cousin just came into the library here where I send & receive my email & I told him about the pictures you have & he said for you to try to take them to Wal-Mart near where you live & get some good copies made of them & he will reimburse you.
We read over your messages again & I guess I must of read too fast as I thought you said you had a picture of Sarah Elizabeth Bowman who was killed, but it was her mother you had a picture of. Right?

I have a picture of both Sarah and Nanny,her mother. I do not have a hard copy of the one of Sarah "Lizzie" which was taken in 1894 two years before her death.
I am a electronics junkie and have all kinds of scanner, printers and photo editing things but everything is in a mess as we are turning a spare bedroom into my genealogy/photo office. My husband says that we will pack up a scanner and make a run to Fla and see what other pics my cousin has. Her grandmother was also the child of Ira Bowman.
