David L. Crawford is my gggg-grandfather ! I had no idea where they were before they 'appeared' in Preble County, OH and then on to Rush Co., IN. I'm hampered by David's disappearing between they 1840 and 1850 censuses....at this point, I can't even be sure of his children's names, except for my ggg-grandfather (David's son) Jacob. Do you know where and when Jacob died?

Do you know David L.'s wife's name? She must have died after the 1840 census too (?). I have so many questions on this line, if your Pearsey Family History is still available, I would sincerely appreciate a copy. I'd gladly reimburse you for copying and postage fees, if necessary.

I am so happy you replied. Are you a new-found cousin? Did Rachel and Mr. Pearsey have children? (See how 'uninformed' I am....despite much searching on this line.)
