My grandmother was Claretta Meyers from Batesville,her father was Aloise E.Meyers,Jr.I am trying to learn more about my family,I believe Aloise may have been born in Kentucky.He had a brother named Marlon"Docky" Meyers and four sisters that I know of,two passing on very young.Please contact me if you have any info.Thank you

I am great granddaughter of Frederick Henry Meyers b. 1829 married Marie Adelheit Bohlke b. 1834. They lived near Stumkes Corner in Ripley County, IN. This is where my grandparents were born. Grandfather was George J. Meyers b. 1869 in Ripley County. He married Edna Chase in 1894. I have genealogy going back to Oldendorf, Luebbecke Parish, Westfalen Province, Prussia and Wachendorf, Heiligenfilde Parish, Hanover

looking for info on the Bohlke family. My great grand parents were John and Margaret Bohlke, both born in Kentucky. The census shows their parents were from Hanover, Germany. John and Margaret lived for many years in the Cincinnati area.
