Looking from family history on the Howell Family.

I believe his name was Thomas Howell. The family was
from the Modoc area. My grandmother is Bernice Howell,
married, Russell Dow in 1916. Her mother was Viola Howell.

I found a Viola Howell, on the 1900 census, born in 1875, married to a William T. Howell, born 1870. They had 2 daughters, Della, born 1893 and Ida B., born 1896. Could Ida B. be Bernice? The census was in the Modac area. If this is her let me know and I will send you the census index and look for more ancestors for you.

The family tree said that William and Viola were married 14 Jun 1892, it didn't say where and I could not find a record in Indiana marriages. Viola's name was listed as Mina Viola Keever.

I went to findagrave.com and though I didn't find Thomas and Sarah, there were a lot more Lindsay's there and the name was spelled with an 'a' at the end and not an 'e'.
