I'm looking for Robert C Myers, the father of Jacob E. Myers. Per Jacob's WWI draft card, he was born in Blackford Co. on 16 Feb 1892. Family lore is that he was adopted. When Jacob's youngest son (LeRoy Wilbur Myers, buried in Union Cemetery near Windsor) died of appendicitis in 1921 at age nine the newspaper obit lists a surviving grandfather, Robert C Myers, as living near Huntsville. Per census records, Jacob lists his father's birthplace as Ohio.

Jacob was married to Flossie Clevenger and died when the "school hack" (empty) he was driving was hit by an inter-urban in 1922.
