Cathy,
I have written some emails to other Mills researchers who I know have researched "a bit" on the Jacob Mills you refer to. However, I don't think much has ever been determined
on the Jacob -57 and Mary - 46 on the 1850 Randolph Co., census, that you are talking about. I know it is thought that this Jacob -b: 1793 OH is a brother to Morgan Mills -b: 1784 - who married Rebecca Jane (Driver) -c 1812 in OH and moved to Randolph Co., IN with Rebecca Driver's family in 1821 but this has never been proven because we have not yet PROVEN Morgan Mills's father nor his siblings.
Monisa Wisener had a Mills descendant from Albany, IN who was at the Historical Society in Winchester and the Maxville cemetery a couple of weeks ago, who was researching this very Jacob Mills. It might pay to give Monisa a call -
Good Luck - Judy Mills Boie
