Hi Jeannie,
Nice to hear from you. Pat has mentioned you and your interest in family history.
Yes, Pat and Michelle's recent research trip was pretty exciting - even to those of us that stayed home ! LOL They did really well - especially to find a Will for Morgan Mills of Farmland, Indiana when everyone else who had ever researched him had been told that Morgan did not have a will because he bequeathed all his farms and lands to his heirs before he died back in 1878. Now, After 25 years of personal research, we find more children belonging to him, that he had named in his will. That info has really stunned several other of the older Mills researchers, including me. Family stories and info handed down is wonderful but this Will thing proves a family researcher needs to look for proof or no proof on their own and not take anyone elses word for things.
I am chomping at the bit to get together with Pat and Michelle and examine all the goodies they found. Hopefully soon.
Let's keep in touch, ok?
All the best,
Judy Mills Boie
