p 451 ASHMORE: "Joseph Aaron Ashmore was named after his two grandfathers, Joseph Ashmore and Aaron Lewis Rhoades. The Ashmore and Rhoades families go back to about 1810 in Highland Co, Oh. Joseph was the son of edward E. Ashmore and Clara Rhoades." (no more mention of Rhoades)

p 493 Esta Mae Cunningham: "Her g g g grandfather John Addington m. Anna Vanilla Wright in 1875. they were paternal grandparents of Mrs. Cunningham. Mrs. Addington was a descendent of such Quaker names as Coats, Wright, Rawson, Smith, harris, Mace, Haworth, Cox, rees, and Rhoades."

p 502 "James Rush (1960) m (Deborah Rhoades) Winchester."

p 515 "Malinda Gibson b. Nov 3, 1812 m. 1. John Rhoades; 2. Miles Harold."
