JOSEPH H. KNIGHT born in Posey Co. In. In 1852, and
my Great Grandmother MARY MARGARET CULLEY born in
Posey Co. In. In 1854.
It is rumored they were married in Posey Co in 1873.

Thanks Hugh; If he was from Posey Co. In. There is a great
chance that he his. I have a lot of KNIGHT info from that area, but no Joseph, I think once I unlock his mystery there will be a lot of KNIGHT family ties????

I found that Margaret Culley, the daughter of David Thomas Culley and Mary Ethel Duckworth, married Joseph H Knight January 2, 1873, in Posey County, IN.
Samuel Culley and Nancy Thomas Culley were David's Parents and Robert Duckworth and Margaret Burlison were Mary Ethel's parents.

Does anyone have forward info, from the 1930's forward on the knight family? My Mother's Maiden name was Ethel G. Knight, had brothers Ronald, and Edward Frank Knight. Edward was a judge in Morrisville , IN. My mother also had two sisters' Mary and Virginia Knight. I'm unaware of married names. My father's Name was Clyde Richard Stedman, Of Wayne Michigan. He died May 19th 1976. I'm am searching for our Family history. I have half sisters, by the last name Drapeau. From a previous marriage of my mother's. If anyone has any further information, Please respond.

Clarence was the oldest and Ernie was born in 1901.

I was just talking to my mother in law today ( *** Stedman Jensen) and
she was talking about how your Dad's brothers use to play tricks on her when
they were little. They would boost her up a tree and then leave her there!
She said Clarence Jr and bright red hair and Donald had black.

We have been working on the Stedman family tree for years. Clarence's
grandfather was Moses Stedman, a Civil War soldier. But we have been working
to get back to past generations...and just today I started filling in the
current generations.
