I am researching the MOORE/CALDWELL families of Posey/Gibson counties on my wife's side of the family.
Her G grandfather was John Henry MOORE b. 29 nov 1863 Patoka, Gibson Co. d.1 sept 1946 Griffin,Gibson co. m. Lucy Williams b. 1871 Posey Co. d. 23 may 1905 Gibson Co. (may have been dau. of James and Mary S. (Harmon) WILLIAMS. I have info from John's death certificate that his dad was a JOE MOORE (NFI) and no mother listed. Would appreciate any help on his pedigree as well as pedigree for Lucy WILLIAMS.

The CALDWELL line goes like this..my wife's G grandfather was James Henry CALDWELL b. 26 jan 1868 ARK/IN d. 3 jan 1954 Posey Co. James's father was John Henry CALDWELL b. ARK/IN d. ?
His spouse may have been a PARLEE GREEN who later married a Wilhelm OVERTON 5 dec 1890.
Info is that the CALDWELL family was connected somehow to the DIXON/DICKSON family and may have been raised by the DIXONS.
