I am looking for information on Laura Halstead. She was married to Miles Sandage and had one son (Jessie). She was born in Ohio around 1840 and I believe she died about 1859. I believe Laura's family was from Ashtabula County Ohio--but I can find no information that gives me a clue as to how she ended up in Indiana at about age 10--living with the Sandage family. If anyone has information, I would appreciate it.
