James Mason Blake, M.D., P. C., Okemos, MI graciously shares these Bibles which he owns.
He states that JOHN BLAKE, his great-great-great grandfather was an original settler in Union Township, Parke County in 1823. His son, Isaac Wasson Blake, is Dr. BlakeÂ’s great-great grandfather, Charles Abel Blake his great grandfather.

The CHARLES ABEL BLAKE Bible information: The Text Corrected According To The Standard of the AMERICAN BIBLE SOCIETY. Dayton, Ohio. Published at the Printing Establishment of the United Brethren In Christ. 1857.
A descendant of JOHN MARTIN states that his wife was Margaret Farris not Elizabeth Ellet Farris who is the daughter of John & Margaret Farris Martin. Dr. Thomas agrees that this information is correct, but he submitted the information as it appeared in the Bible.
