She could well be my grandfather's sister. I know the Murphy family came to NY in 1884 from Cork (only as a departure point), but were actually from Cross in Belmullet. Tuke Emigration probably. I know my grandfather, Patrick, born about 1881, had an older sister named Margaret (Maggie) who married someone named Vogt in Parke County, Indiana. I heard they went to Illinois. I also heard she had sons named John and Patrick. This all sounds very similar to what you are looking for. I have info on the family in Ireland and all the Murphys who stayed in Parke County.
