David was born in 1853 so he could not be the father to Rose. I have documented Harrison's children and Rose is not one of his either. Looks like we are striking out on a connection. Phyllis

Sorry, I missed this reply from you regarding Rose Gaston. She and David are too close to the same age to be father - daughter. Harrison never lived in White Co. IL.

Would any of you know where Geraldine Gaston, daughter of Harris / Harrison, died and when?

She married my James Christenberry in 1895. They moved to Coles County, Illinois. He died in 1916. Rumor has it she moved to Oklahoma and died there.

An Aunt who knew Susan G. Gaston said she went to live with her sister Sarah Richards in Oklahoma. I have found the Richards living in and about Okalahoma City, but never found a cemetery listing for either Susan Christenberry, Sarah or Thomas Richards. They lived in and about Oklahoma City.

Thanks - I found Sarah and husband Thomas Richards in both the 1920 and 1930 Census'. But no sister-in-law Susan G. Gaston . Christenberry.

I guess I have to keep looking.

Those census are the last two I found of the Richards too. Have you contacted a genealogy society or gone on OK US Gen Web to see if someone could look up a cemetery record?

No, I have not contacted a researcher or taken a look at GenWeb.

But, I start the GenWeb thing to day.
