Bear Creek Cemetery - Watts Family

I’m pretty certain that my ggg grandparents, John Watts and Frances Sebree Watts are buried in Bear Creek Cemetery. I’m planning on visiting the area, but I live 2000 miles away. I know where it is, but from Google Maps, it appears to be on private property in the middle of a field and I don’t want to access the property without permission.

The cemetery southwest of Farmers Retreat and south east of Friendship. It’s in a field on the east side of N. Mexico Ridge Road, a little north of Clay Miller Road. There appears to be house directly across the street. Does anyone know who owns this field and how to contact them? A previous posting here suggested the field belonged to the “Millers”.

Learned more information. From Larry Noble, it seems John Watts and family are buried in the Watts or Hart Cemetery.

It's variously described as 1-"Just over in the field across the public road to the west [of Bear Creek Cemetery] is a small place of burial surrounded by a stone wall..." and 2-it is about 1000 yards upstream from Bear Creek.

This would make the Watts Cemetery on the west side of N. Mexico Ridge Road and south of Harding Rd/Laughrey Creek. It's probably too small to appear on Google Maps. Anyone have any idea where it might be?

Thanks,

If you use Google Earth, you can see the cemetery out in a field near Laughery Creek. If you use coordinates 38 degs 57 mins 11 secs North and 85 degs 6 mins 0 secs West, you should be in the middle of the cemetery. It is East of Mexico Ridge Road.
