My 2nd great-grandmother was Margaret Williams. I think she may have been the daughter of Lewis Williams. I found on the 1850 Morgan Co. Census a Lewis Williams with the daughter - Margaret. Lewis was 44 and birthplace is listed as TN. His wife, Polly, was born in KY and she was also 44. They had 7 children listed - all born in Indiana. Margaret married Lyman M. Greer in 1854. They would have lived in Green Township. I have a copy of some names listed in Greer Cemetery, Green Twp. Listed are some Williams - William 1832-1875 (I think this may be Margaret's brother) and Ruth, his wife 1833-1913 (Ruth was Lyman Greer's sister). There is also Cicero 1859-1864, William E. 1863-1878 and Amanda J. 1865-1865. They must have been William and Ruth's children? Does anyone have anything on this Williams family? I've just only started to look for them.
