Hello - I am looking for connections with the McIntyre (also spelled McIntire) family that lived in Bono, Lawrence County in the mid 1800s. My hope is that I will find other researchers who will have more history of the McIntyre line from Londonderry, Ireland.

John McIntyre was b. Abt. 1788 in Londonderry and married Sarah Faris in Indiana. They moved to Bono and had Nancy, Margaret, John, Anna and Sarah. John died there 28 Apr 1845 and Sarah died there 15 Jun 1859. Their son, John (not married) also died there 21 Sep 1861.

John McIntyre Sr was the son of John McIntire and Ann Loudon / Louden / Lowden.
