Don't miss out this year! The descendants of Ira Hurshel BLUNK & Elsie Ray ELMORE BLUNK invite you to the 2006 BLUNK REUNION held in Mitchell, Indiana, on Saturday, 7th October 2006. (Location: Mitchell Indiana Community Center). Pitch-in dinner (served about 12:30, make and bring your prized recipe), display of old photos (don't forget to bring yours), fun (playground for young and old alike), and prizes! Those cousins musically gifted please be prepared to share, bring your instruments (guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, accordian, flute, spoons)!
We welcome all cousins (BLUNK, ELMORE, RENFROW, LINDSEY), friends of the family, inlaws and outlaws, to spend the day with us! (Doors open at 11 am).
Hurshel & Elsie Blunk were originally from BUTLER CO., KY, later moved to Mitchell, Lawrence Co., IN, where they raised their family. Hurshel's parents were, Levi Henson BLUNK (Harrison County, IN) & Samantha RENFROW. Levi's siblings included: John Cleveland, Kelly Estill, Charles Escar, and Obie Glaspie Blunk.
Elsie's parents were, Amos Younger Wetherspoon ELMORE & Nancy Jane LINDSEY. Elsie's siblings included: Mary Ida, John, Attie V., Antha, Virgil, Lillie, Doomie, Minerva, Lessie, Mantha, Vashti, and Euda Coy Elmore.
