Searching for information on HARRY F ROOT, listed as a surviving son in my great-grandfather, James E. Root's 1929 obituary in Cumberland, MD. Harry is listed as a resident of Whitering, IN, but I believe this may have been a typographical error for Whiting. Harry may have been known as FRANK, as this is how he was listed in the 1900 census and also the name my mother remembered him by. She also believed that he was a railroader.
