I think you're absolutely on target with this family. I've come across a reference that lists Nancy as Martin Goolman's granddaughter, although there were no sources listed. As my access to Indiana records, etc. is very limited (actually, the word "non-existant" would be better! *g*) I'll have to do some digging to prove the info. However, your excellent info gives me a firm base from which to start. The same reference I mentioned also explains that different branches of the family began using the spelling GOLDMAN instead of GOOLMAN. Not unusual; I have several cousins who spell our shared surname (Risener) in several different ways. Makes for an exasperating genealogical ride, though. *g*
