SAND LAKE, May 29 --- MRS. GEORGIA A. GOUL, 74, widow of JOHN E. GOUL and pioneer resident of Sand Lake, died Friday at the home of her son, GEORGE, in Lowell.
Born in Indiana, Mrs. Goul came to Michigan as a child. Her husband, who operated the elevator at Sand Lake until his death, was also prominently identified in political circles, having served as supervisor form Nelson township.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Sand Lake Methodist church. Burial in Sand Lake cemetery. The body will be in state from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. [John E.] GOUL was united in marriage, October 20, 1880, with Miss Georgia CRABBE, a native of JENNINGS COUNTY, IND., born November 28, 1861, and a daughter of George W. and Anna L. (WEEKS) CRABBE, residents of Sand Lake, the result of this marriage being one son George E. They also reared two girls, LENA and IVA CULLOM, who remained in the family from childhood to maturity.

John was b. 23 January 1857, in Hudson, Summit Co. OH, to JOHN GOUL and CATHERINE KEYES. Georgia d. 29 May 1936, at the home of her son in Lowell, KENT CO., MI. John d. in 1927. They are both buried in Sand Lake Cemetery, in Sand Lake, KENT CO., MI.
