Can anyone tell me where to go to see if a George Huber who lived in Jennings Co until around 1881 was in the Civil War? He came to Jennings Co sometime after May, 1861. He came here from Germany. I don't know if you had to be naturalized to fight in the war. My thanks to all those who took my message and attempted to help me.
