The "Country Living" column written by Gladys (DISMORE) JONES, wife of John Paul JONES, from 1971 to 1975 for the Scott County Journal was compiled by Mrs. JONES in the 1980s into a 66-page soft cover book. Mrs. JONES, now 96, wishes to again make remaining the copies availablle for purchase, and I have offered to assist. The columns contain a great deal of interesting facts about early Scott and surrounding counties, as well as some genealogical data about early area families, primarily the ancestors of Mr. and Mrs. JONES, including the KIMBERLIN, LOSEY, JONES and DISMORE families.
