My ancestor, John McIntyre, who died in 1910 in Jefferson County, Madison, Indiana - was listed in the Madison Courier as " a member of the Juniata Tribe of Red Men ", in addition to being a member of the Haymaker's Association and the Washington Fire Co. No. 2.
