When Monroe County, Ohio was formed, he found himself over the line and in Monroe County. He later moved back over the line into Washinton County. George Henry Fremyer born 1 JUne 1919 Seattle, Wa.
he married Christeen Willie Peavy 0 Nov 19444.

I have much data on the Freemyer line. My Catharine Myers is living in Green Township, Randolph County, Indiana in the 1910 and 1920 census. In 1870 census Sarah Janes and her first husband Jonathan Sutton were living in New Croydon Walbash twp Jay county. In the same census a Lydia, Alexander and son George White are living in Westchester Bear Creek twp Jay county about 7 miles from New Croydon.

If so I have information on the Jeffries, Sutton, and Barlet families. Sophia, Sarah Jane Sutton's daughter married Jacob Barlett.

I just ran across your post while researching this family. William and Margaret are direct ancestors of mine, through Hannah C. I know that William and Margaret are buried in Little Salamonia Cemetery near Portland, Indiana. I've been there, seen the tombstones, have the pictures. I have Margaret's maiden name as Stohl, but do not know where I got that - no solid source. Please email me at jam1941@gmail.com if you would like to compare notes on this family.

Karen,

Thanks for the info. I have almost all of those details, that's why I tried to be specific about the info I am looking for regarding Francis Joseph and Robert W. Hart. Robert is a real wild card. I was hoping that perhaps you had some knowledge or means of researching cemeteries in Michigan City since Francis is reportedly buried there. Robert is buried with his parents in the IOOF cemetery in Dunkirk, but there is no marker or other burial info.

Karen,

In Sept. '07 you provided me with some info on one of my great uncles, Joseph M. Hart, b: 9/9/1906 in Jay Co., IN. Thought you might like an update of my continued research.
He died when I was 4. I had met his wife, Virginia, in Dallas in the 1980's while my parents were still living there, but I wasn't interested in genealogy at that point and asked no family related questions. I now have a copy of Joseph's Marion Co., IN death certificate. From that, I learned he is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. From cemetery records I was able to locate his gravesite, I learned that his wife was also buried at Crown Hill, but not next to Joseph. It appears her brother was buried in the 2nd space in the plot that Virginia had purchased in 1954. Further research has enable me to develop a family line for Virginia for which I previously did not have any information. Cemetery records provided me with the owner of Virginia's grave site. This info reminded me of one of Virginia's relatives that I have previously met, but forgotten about and had no contact info. I have attempted to contact this person living in Indianapolis to see what information she can share with me regarding Joseph, Virginia and any of my other realtives of that era. The info you provided me was conssitent with many of the other details I have found and helped me find and/or verify new info. Thanks again for your assistance.

If you're interested I am still trying to obtain and/or verify info regarding 2 of Joseph's brothers, Francis Joseph Hart, b: 9/16/1899 in Jay Co., died 2/28/1964 in Bedford, VA and Robert W. Hart, b: 9/7/1908 in Jay Co., died 9/18/1967 in Indianapolis. I have copies of both of their death certificates, but these have presented new and/or unanswered questions. I can provide more specifics, if you're interested.
