All of the Luzadder family started with Jacob & Rachel de Louzada. Many times a man took on the name of the town he was from. I know that there is a Lousada in Portugal, where he had duties at the temple. All of the various spellings came after Jacob moved to America from Portugal, and some of his descendants, for whatever reasons, changed the spelling of this name. One of the Aaron's converted to Christianity, married Sarah Cole, daughter of Chief Little Bear, and converted to Christianity. If you type the name Jacob Louzada in your search engine you will find him in articles on Sephardic Jewism. Marguerite, daughter of a Luzadder, has an excellent family tree for Luzadder.
