Can anyone tell me if Martha Zea was married to Chester? Did she have children? Martha was the child of Hester Nichols and Wm. Nichols.

Angel. Not related, just trying to help. Martha A Nichols married Chester W Zea in Jasper county on 3 Jul 1894, source is book 3, page 159. In the 1900 census Martha indicated she was the mother of 3, of which 2 were still living. They had a son Omar D, born Jul 1897 and a daughter Helen born Sep 1898. I found a source which indicates Omars full name was Omar Victor Devere Zea. In the 1910 census they had Devere O, 12, Helen, 11, Willard, 8, and Arthur, 6. In the 1920 census they had Devere, 23, and Arthur, 14. In the 1930 census Chester appears to have a new wife Marie E. Hope this helps. Don

I'm interested in your Nichols family. My ggrandfather,
Frederick Nicholas McGee....was the son of Joseph McGee
and Anna Maria Nichols.,b:1801,PA, d:aft 1880,IN. Do you
have the dates for William Nichols? and do you know who his
parents are and where they are from? Anna Maria, died in
Jefferson Co.,but married Joseph in KY.
Also, I remember the Zea family of Rensselaer....especially
Ernie......any relation?

I am just getting into this. Inherited family tree stuff from my dad. Is your family connected to William Zea, born Schoharie, NY in 1812? I don't have a Chester Zea in my records, but there may be a connection.
