An obituary for Joseph Becker listed the buriel at Gardner cemetery. The health dept. has the death record and it lists Guard Cemetery. I've checked with the Surveyor's ofc., the map on the Health Dept. ofc. wall and the book at the library that lists cemeteries of Jasper Co. I can find no record of this cemetery. The death occurred in Walker Township in 1901. I did find some Beckers buried across the county line in Pulaski County but no dates matched the dates of this person. Anyone know of any cemetery that has had the name changed? Anyone from the Historical society who subscribes to Ancestry.com that can look this up for me? Thanks.
