Mrs. Lucy Ann Staley, wife of L. A. Staley of this city passed away at her home on East First Street Wednesday morning about three o'clock, following a long illness of about 10 years. Death was due to heart trouble and other complications. The deceased was seventy years and twenty-three days old at the time of her demise.
The husband and four children survive; the children are Mrs. Louie Cox of Indianapolis, Mrs. Zona Bennett of Sheridan, Mrs. Glennie Eaton of near Peru, and Paul of this city.
Funeral services will be held at the home either today or Saturday, but definate arrangements could not be made until a granddaughter in Florida is heard from. Interment will occur in the Spencer cemetery. Friends are invited to attend the services.
