Linda Kay Smith, 57, of Indianapolis, formerly of New Albany, Floyd Co, Indiana, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, in Indianapolis. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at North Meridian Street United Methodist Church, Indianapolis, with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She She was a travel consultant for Carlson Leisure Group in Franklin, a former teacher at Tech High School in Indianapolis, and a former member of the board of volunteers for the Children's Bureau Auxiliary in Indianapolis.
Survivors include a son, Lowell Vaughn; and a brother, Charles Smith.
Planner & Buchanan Broad Rippel Funeral Home, Indianapolis, is in charge of arrangements.
