Can anyone tell me if there is a death index for Elkhart Co. for the period 1850 - 1880? As I am not certain when my ancestor died I need to locate an index, if there is one. He was Jonathan ROBISON/ROBINSON born ca 1793 in PA. His wife was Mary (HATFIELD) ROBISON born 1810-1815. They were in Clinton Twp., Elkhart Co., in 1850. 1860 IN Census, shows Jonathan and Mary in Lock twp. They were supposedly in Harrison Twp. ca 1870 or 1880.
I need to locate death/burial records on these two individuals. Can anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
