Death came this morning to claim for his own James Compton, Esq, of Osolo township. For months the deceased has wrestled with the destroyer having suffered from lung difficulty. With his death comes not only sorrow to his household, but a real loss to the community at large. The sympathy of all the old residents of Elkhart and vicinity will rest with his bereaved wife and children.
