I have a booklet called "They Had a Vision" list several early families in the Yellow Creek area of Elkhart County. It also has schools, churches, homes adn burial sites. I would be willing to do lookups. Some surnames include: (but not limited too) BARE, BUZZARD, CULP, FREED, LECHLITNER, LOUCKS, SCHROCK, WELDY, WENGER

I have a Wenger in my Family File. Unfortunately, that's all I know except that he married my grandaunt Alice Estella Murphy, who was born 12 Sep 1886. The Murphys were in Kosciusko County. Is there possibly anything on this Wenger in your booklet?

I also have Clingdanel line I'm working on - I know they have Mennonite background and were in the Nappanee area.

Thanks for this offer!

Sherry

Hi Sherry, it lists a Christina Wenger 1785-1850, a Barbara Wenger, 1842-1903, Magdalena Wenger 1816-1876, a Christian Wenger, 1809-1882 and Mary S. Wenger, 1817-1900, a John C. Wenger, 1910-1995. It lists John C's parents as A. Martin and Martha (Rock) Wenger.

I too have Wengers in my tree. If you want to compare notes, email direct twallace03@msn.com Tracy

I don't have any Myers in this pamphlet. Were your ancestors in Elkhart County, IN? If so, perhaps I may be of some assistance to you. Be happy to be your legs here in Elkhart County. Tracy

I am looking for the Young family, that migrated to Elkhart in the mid 1850's before or after.
