I found your reply to my old posting by accident. While I'm still not 100% certain, subsequent research leads me to believe that Isabella and Nancy Noble were sisters to my ancestor James Noble and his brother, John Dennison Noble. I don't know how Elizabeth fits in. James and John were the sons of James and Margaret Noble, originally of Virginia. This Margaret Noble died in 1860.

My grandfather, James Monroe Noble, married Myrtle Leah Bell, dau. of Ulysses Morton Bell and Arzella Alice St. Clair/Sinclair. I don't know of a connection to Jacob Bell and my Bells, but my web site is at familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/j/a/c/Frances-Jacklin-OR if you'd like to see if there are any matches.

If you are descended from Jacob Bell, I do have the Civil War packet for his father-in-law Robert S. Polson, and the pension file where Nancy and Jacob are trying to get a pension for Isabella Polson. Polson will not show up in the List of Individuals or Surname List at my web site as I'm still not positive of the exact connection, but they're listed on my home page with links to the appropriate ancestors.

My e-mail is now fnrjacklin@msn.com. Please let me know if you have any further info relating to my line, or questions regarding my information.
