Jacob Brock (b. @1825, IN - d.17 Oct 1886, Delaware Co., IN) married 5 May 1944 (Delaware Co., IN) Polly (Mary??) Smith (b.@1824 - d. btw June 1860 & Dec 1863, Delaware Co., IN).

Their children were: Hannah (b. 1844); Margaret(b. 1853), and Jacob(b. 1859), all in Delaware Co., IN. Obviously, there is a large gap in which other children may have been born & died, but these are the only children that made it to the 1850 and 1860 censuses.

Jacob had 2 more wives: Nancy Williams (m. Dec. 1863) and Lutetia M. Dales (m. 1880).

I THINK (but need proof) that the parents of this couple were:

Jacob: Sherod Brock(b.@1781, d. 1858) & Mary (), and a brother of Jackson Brock, based on dates of birth, etc.

Polly: Hiram Smith & ? Kuntz, and a sister of Solomon Smith, who was living with them in 1860.
