I am looking for any information on John Jeremiah "Jerry" Hickman b.1886 Orange Co., IN; d.1968 Delaware Co., IN. Jerry married Nora Ida Jackson 16 Apr 1913 in Orange County. Indiana birth records show children born to this couple in Delaware County then Orange County (so they must have gone back & forth). By the 1930 census, some of the children were living in Jackson Co., Indiana, with their maternal grandparents indicating Nora must have died after the birth of her last child in 1927. Jerry and Nora never show on a census after they are married - at least none that I can identify. He is on pre-marriage censuses at home as John J. but no 1920-1930 census for them as a couple. Yet he registered for the WWI and WWII drafts from Delaware County and shows on the SSDI; I guess he was just adept and avoiding the census taker.

Is anyone able to check to see if John J. Hickman had an obituary around 24 Jul 1968? I appreciate any help with this fellow. Thank you.
