ALBANY - Helen Hobson, 90, died Monday in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, after a short illness.
Mrs. Hobson was born north of Dunkirk and attended Beaver Hill School. She lived in the Albany area for 50 years and was a homemaker and had also farmed. She was a member of Albany Saddle Club and Bethel United Methodist Church, north of Albany.
Survivors include two sons, Denney Hobson (wife: Mildred) and James Hobson (wife: Marge); two daughters, Barbara L. Morgan and Maribel Conn (husband: Bill); a brother, Robert Denney (wife: Deloris); two sisters, Mary Scheppele and Dorothy Henry; 11 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Kenneth Hobson, died in 1990. Two brothers and two sisters are also deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parson-Rust Funeral Home. Burial will be in Black Cemetery.
Calling will be 3-7 p.m. today and an hour before services, Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Albany EMS or Bethel United Methodisy Church.
