I am looking for anyone named Jackson who can help me with the history of your family. My mother lives in a house on Jackson Ridge (off of Saltfork Rd), which was built in 1918 by the Jacksons, which is who "Jackson Ridge" was named after. We don't know much about the house or the family, except for a large portrait of the home that we found in the attic of the house. The giant photograph is about 100 years old, and features a two children (a boy and a girl), a horse and a man and a woman, all standing in front of the cabin which is where our house stands today. We believe these to be the original Jackson family. It's a beautiful, creepy portrait!
If anyone knows anything about the original Jackson family, I would to know. I've been searching for a few hours now and can hardly find anything. I know that they were farmers, because the apple orchard that they built is still there today.
I guess I would just like to know more about who's home we're living in.
