Died on Sunday morning, April 4th 1880 at 1:10 oclock, Mrs. Lucinda RODARMEL, in her 69th year.
Deceased was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, February 22nd, 1812. Her maiden name was Lucinda BALL, and was married to Samuel A. RODARMEL in 1831. She was mother of seven children, three of whom are living, Mrs. Edna AXTELL, wife of J. T. AXTELL; John A. RODARMEL, editor of the Washington Gazette, and Mrs. Edith May COURSON, wife of C. F. COURSON, of Memphis, Tennessee. The deceased has a brotherMr. Robert BALLliving in California, and a sisterMrs. Henry WEIRliving in Bloomfield, Greene County, this state. She was of a strong, determined mind, and up to the last few years she was unceasing in her household duties in which she broke herself down. For the past few years she has been an invalid, and during the last year has suffered intensely. Consequently her death was not a surprise to the family or herself. The deceased was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church and died believing and trusting in Him who doeth all things for the best.
