David Moss,of Adams Twp Cass Co IN, was born 1817 in Union Co IN, died June 1, 1902,aged 84y 6m 8d. He was united in marriage to Mary Brower August 31,1840. She departed this life August 21,1854. To this union were born six children:Sarah, now deceased, wife of Isaac Fisher of Miami Co IN;Elizabeth,now deceased,wife of Wm Burge of Grant Co IN;Lewis of Carroll Co IN; Aaron of Huntington Co IN; William of Cass Co IN; & Lavina Rush of Miami Co IN. He was again united in marriage to Margaret Shidler Myers June 1,1855. She preceded him March 12,1893. To this union were born four children: Abraham, John & Alfred of Cass Co IN and Rebecca Tyson . He leaves to mourn his departure one sister, eight children, 49 grandchildren & 20 gr-grandchildren. He was a kind father. About the year 1850 he united with the Dunkard Church.
