There are several Shadrack Chandlers in the Chandler family from Brown County, Indiana.

Starting from the Shadrack Chandler from Franklin Co, VA who married Anne Brummett in 1790 something. Things are a little sketchy from back in those times, but that Shadrack and Anne moved to Knox County, Kentucky, where they had several children including Benjamin, James, and another Shadrack.

That Shadrack stayed in Knox (which later became Maurie) County, but Anne, James, and Benjamin moved to Brown County Indiana sometime before 1820, apparently without the senior Shadrack.

Both Benjamin and James had children named Shadrack. My great-grandfather is the Shadrack who is the son of Benjamin born in 1821. I don't believe that he had any children named Amanda. James' son Shadrack was born in 1847 and I suspect that he is your great-grandfather. But I have not looked at that in detail.
