Census 1940 California shows grandma as head of house hold She is 26 I believe as my dad was born in Nov 1937 she (Ruth) was 23 and Walter was 21 then

My dad (Robert Dale Handley)shows on birth certificate they were married and lived at 722 Cypress Street Santa Ana California and they owned the home

Shows Walter born in Arkansas Ruth in Texas
Walter was a Factory Laborer for 3 years in 1937
Ruth Housewife 2 years
this is all from dad's birth record which I have a copy

I don't know where Walter disappeared to between 1937 and 1940 census He is not listed as being a resident at the same address above

I got a hit on a Walter Handley in San Diego Penitentary shows he is married about same age but don't know any more than that Do you know how I would go about finding more info from the information I have which is in this message? This is all I have to go on Thanks

Handleys are everywhere I am in Oklahoma and the ones in El Reno were Bootleggers and now attorneys lol But don't think I am related it all hinges on Walter
The Cemetary in Monticello is no help I have all the gravestone names but no Walter there either so still no connection other then he was born in Arkansas
